Freedom is free

Image resembling a message of freedom.

This post is not a “preach”. These are just the words that came to my mind when I saw these pictures. Pictures that speak to the FREEDOM I feel. The freedom I long to lead others to feel too. The gift of freedom that is free.

Galatians 5 vs 1 says…
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

In choosing Christ Jesus as my Lord, my ruler, the one I yield my life to, I have found the deepest, truest freedom. It’s the greatest paradox of all.

Freedom from a fear of the future.
Freedom from the pain of my past.
Freedom from the need to control.
Freedom from an identity that seeks to be validated by man, and elevated by a title.
Freedom from negative and toxic thinking.
Freedom to let go.
To never take offence.
To live light.

Freedom to dream hope filled, enormous dreams with the confidence that they are held in His capable hands.
Freedom to be bold and courageous.
And freedom to be weak. Freedom from the need to have it all.
Freedom from the striving that comes from a fear of lack.

Jesus paid the price for my freedom so that I may know God.
And be known by Him.
His very nature bonded to every fibre of my being leads me into wide open spaces of complete freedom.
